Shaich Family Alumni and Student Engagement Center (ASEC)

The Shaich Family Alumni and Student Engagement Center is Clark’s newest facility, and is home of the Student Success Network, which offers all of the resources you need to make the most of your Clark journey — Academic Advising, Career Connections Center, Community Engagement and Volunteering, the Office of Prestigious Fellowships and Scholarships, Student Accessibility Services, and Study Abroad. The Dean of Students and Dean of the College offices are located in ASEC as well, along with the Registrar, Student Accounts, Financial Assistance, and Human Resources. On the first floor are the Campus Store and a coffee shop that serves Starbucks coffee.

Student Success

🎓 Student Success

ASEC is home of multiple offices that support students, from day one to graduation day.

Career Connections Center

Through the Career Connections Center, you can find a job or internship, connect with employers and alumni career professionals, work on your resume, practice your interview skills, obtain advice, research careers, and much more. 84% of Clarkies complete an internship or similar career experience before they begin senior year!

ClarkCONNECT, Clark’s virtual community, gives you unprecedented access to alumni mentors, alumni advertised opportunities, and career communities for guidance and networking. From these connections, you can find a mentor; apply to jobs, internships, and ClarkCONNECT projects; explore research collaborations; learn about an industry; and get advice from professionals in the field.

Office of Study Abroad and Away

The office of Study Abroad and Away helps to connect undergraduate students with opportunities that align their academic and co-curricular interests with credit-bearing experiences beyond the Worcester campus. Whether you are looking for Spanish immersion in Latin America or an internship in Europe, we will work with you to provide an educational opportunity beyond the Worcester campus in one of our 50+ programs approved around the globe.

Programs range across 30+ countries in six continents (sorry, Antarctica). Locations include Buenos Aires, Argentina; Shanghai, China; San Jose, Costa Rica; Grenoble, France; Amman, Jordan; Tangier, Morocco; and Seoul, South Korea.

Financial Assistance

Clark is committed to making our exceptional educational experience affordable for students of all income levels. 85% of students receive some form of financial aid, and every student is considered automatically for merit-based scholarships.

When financial aid is factored in, many students are surprised to find that the cost of attending Clark is comparable to or less than that of a state school. And with Clark’s accelerated degree program, eligible students can earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in five years — with the fifth year tuition-free.
