Wright Residence Hall

Wright is one of five residence buildings reserved for first-year students, and is located near the center of campus on the Downing Street pedestrian plaza. The hall features abundant social and study space throughout its main three floors and basement level. There is a social lounge on every floor, and smaller sitting nooks scattered around. The first floor even has a 9-foot billiards table!

Living on Campus

🎒 Living on Campus

Clark's residential campus is buzzing with activity! Learn more about where you'll study, make friends, and sleep.

Housing Overview

Clark offers a variety of comfortable living spaces for all students, including residence halls, restored houses, and apartments. All five First-Year Housing options are Traditional Lifestyle, allowing first-year students to get to know each other better. Each building is equipped with community bathrooms on each floor, one full kitchen, many social lounges, quiet study rooms, multimedia study rooms, and laundry facilities.

All first- and second-year students live on campus, while juniors and seniors can opt to live off-campus. About 1/3 of juniors and 1/2 of seniors live in off-campus apartments, and there are many options in the residential neighborhood surrounding campus.

Life in Worcester

Worcester is a midsize city (the second-largest in New England) located an hour from Boston and 3.5 hours from New York City. Fueled by a $500 million downtown development project and its bustling Canal District, Worcester is experiencing an economic and physical transformation — new retail, restaurants, and residential spaces have invigorated the post-industrial city and its residents.

Clarkies enjoy the 55+ public parks in the city; the 300+ restaurants, with cuisine from around the world; and hundreds of cultural events, like Worcester Pride and stART on the Street.
