FLITE, or the Ferris Library for Information Technology and Education, houses roughly 300 desktop computers, a collection of books and periodicals, databases for research, and individual and group study rooms that are equipped with whiteboards and televisions.
Laptops are also available for checkout.
This area is home to the nation's largest freestanding mural depicting the evolution of man and technology.
The Office of Multicultural Student Services promotes advocacy, leadership, mentorship, and cultural awareness.
They host many diversity events on campus including Martin Luther King week, Hispanic Heritage Month, as well as other speakers and presenters.
They are located on the first level of FLITE library and welcome all students interested in promoting diversity on campus.
The nationally recognized Jim Crow Museum is free to the public and features six exhibit areas that focus on racial tolerance through displays of intolerance.
To continue to promote diversity on our campus, the Jim Crow Museum promotes discussion of race and race relations, as well as increase opportunities for education and research.
The Academic Literacies Center offers free services to help you succeed while a student at Ferris.
This includes tutoring services for every subject on campus, as well as a writing center that will critique your papers to help you learn skills for the future and increase your grades.
They are available by walk-in or appointment throughout the week.
