Ferris State's Katke Golf Course ranks among the finest University-owned golf courses in the United States.
With Ferris having the first Professional Golf Management program endorsed by the Professional Golf Association (PGA) in 1975, there is a reputation of excellence at this course.
A true test for any caliber of player, the course covers over 6,847 yards.
The Ken Janke Sr. Golf & Learning Center is also housed on our Katke Golf Course and is an indoor golf center that offers year-round access for golf, learning, and practice.
It also provides an educational element to students in the PGA Golf Management Program to develop their abilities in coaching, instruction, and fitting and club repair, which better prepares them for their careers as PGA Golf Professionals.
The new facility features over 10000 square feet of the best technology in golf including: Trackman Simulators, three heated hitting bays for instruction and fitting, 750 square foot short game area and houses the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.
The Katke Golf Course is also home to our Division II Men's and Women's Golf team.
