The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is composed of Ferris State University's police officers and is responsible for maintaining safety, responding to emergencies, and overseeing parking on campus.
Students are able to obtain parking permits from this location for themselves and for guests that are visiting.
DPS offers 24-hour surveillance on-campus to ensure the campus remains safe and can be reached 24/7.
Criminal Justice students also work with the department to promote safety through evening protection services.
If a student doesn't feel safe, they can also called DPS to be escorted to wherever they may need to go 24/7.
