Planning to live on campus when you get to FSU? Smart move.
⭐ Florida State University Housing
In an FSU residence hall, you'll:
Have supportive staff who live in your building
Earn better grades — Studies have shown that students who live on–campus are more likely to graduate in 4 years
Meet new friends immediately
Be close to classes and what's happening on campus
Find leadership and job opportunities
Get an all-inclusive academic–year contract
Most of the halls available to first-year students are suite-style residence halls. The most common room type on campus is a Suite Double with Shared Bath. In this type of suite, there are two double- occupancy rooms connected by a bathroom. The vast majority of students will share a bedroom and a bathroom on campus with at least one other person. You should make sure you are comfortable with that possibility before deciding to live on campus at FSU. Typically, each resident has a roommate and two suitemates. Students who have a documented disability that requires a housing accommodation should review the services available through the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) and submit documentation to the OAS as soon as possible.
Every student has a bed, a desk and chair, a dresser, and a closet in their residence. Each room has a mini-fridge provided by the university. Residence Halls also have common areas like study spaces, kitchens, and laundry facilities open to residents.
