Science and Technology

Lamar University's Science and Technology building supports and promotes collaborative university research projects. The 83,000 square foot space brings to the educational programs the ability to teach theory and concepts to students across the campus. Lamar University is making large strides towards modernizing the university's STEM programs.

Outside of the Science and Technology building is a greenhouse and seating/studying spaces. Located on the second floor is a balcony with tables.

📖✏️ Study Spots

Provides many hidden study spots on campus that not many students know about. The study rooms offer a open concept area that provides whiteboard walls, TV's, and meeting areas for studying in groups or by yourself.

🛠️💡 Bird House

The Bird house offers cutting edge technology such as 3D printers, laser printers, modern instructional facility for mathematics, lab sciences, and technology research. The most collaborative space on campus to create, invent, and explore.
