As you enter the Design & Visual Art (DVA) building, you are greeting by a shared gallery space. Throughout the year, our student swill showcase their projects and designs for the Maryville community to see.
⭐ Lighting Studio
There is a Lighting Studio for video and photography majors where they can practice commercial photography, photojournalism, video, videography, and lighting and installation.
⭐ Design Studios
Typography, UX/UI, and game design are all areas of study that help students develop their creative problem-solving skills. Our students have the ability to practice all of these principles within our labs and studios.
We have specified rooms for graphic, interactive, and game design, equipped with the latest technology and open 24/7 to DVA students.

⭐ Interior Design Studios
The Interior Design Resource Room is fully stocked with materials for interior design majors to complete their projects. Our Interior Design studios showcase student work and contain sophisticated technology, the same used by architects, including 3D rendering and AutoCAD.
⭐ DVA Fab Lab
The DVA Fab studio provides access to technology such as large format printing, vinyl cutting, laser cutting, 3D printing, drones, and VR equipment.
