Your life coach will serve as your go-to person at Maryville! They are available to our students for coaching students around academic, career, and personal goals. Our life coaches utilize leaning diagnostics, like CliftonStrengths, to create a personalized learning profile for students. All of our life coaches are certified through the Coach Diversity Institute.

In this area, you can explore the degree programs Maryville has to offer. They assist with any CLEP or math placement exams you may need to take prior to beginning at Maryville.

Our FREE tutoring services, offered in-person and virtually, serve over 200 students in all subjects. We also offer writing tutors to help students strengthen their writing skills and processes.

If you are looking for help with the internship or job application process, or just want help with resume writing, interview skills, or mock interview practice, this is the place to go. Also, keep an eye out for virtual and in-person career fairs hosted by this office each semester! These services extend beyond your time at Maryville and are available to alumni as well.

This office develops new student orientation programs and oversees the first year experience. Every first year student takes a University Seminar course that is taught by their Life Coach, a staff member, and a faculty member. This course will help you get acclimated to life at Maryville and to college altogether.

If you need help with research, we have 24/7 assistance by Library staff. We also offer students access to hundreds of online databases to get them any information they might need.

Maryville University is proud to offer a number of study abroad trips for our students. We offer semesters, full academic years, or the more popular 3-10 week summer session abroad. Popular locations include Lugano, Switzerland; Oxford, England; Florence, Italy; but we can help arrange programs in nearly ANY country!
