💭 Counseling Center
NDSU's Counseling Center is located in Ceres Hall and provides free mental health resources for students. These resources include group or personal counseling sessions, crisis intervention, support groups, and other classes and workshops held throughout the year. Some features and events include regular therapy dog visits, art therapy, guided mindfulness and meditation, and a library of mental health-related resources.
💼 Internships / Job Opportunities
The Career and Advising Center (CAC) at NDSU can help you find an internship, co-op, or full-time job during and after your time as an NDSU student. Each year, CAC puts on two, large-scale career fairs where students can meet with employers from across the region and country to network and look for work opportunities. CAC also offers assistance with resumes and cover letters, mock interviews, career coaching, and the career closet (where you can check out professional clothing for free).
🇺🇸 Military and Veteran Support
Veteran Alliance Organization (VALOR) works to improve campus life for student veterans and help them achieve success in their academic careers. With various campus initiatives and student organizations, student veterans, active-duty students, reservists, and members of the National Guard are sure to find themselves at home and well-equipped to get the services and support they need.
