As you make your way downstairs, you will find a great place to hang out with friends. Thundar's Game Room includes a seven lane bowling alley, esports gaming lab, billiards, and more. If you're hungry visit the Union Dining Center, included in your unlimited meal plan. You can also check out the food court that offers everything from asian and mexican to burgers, salads, subs, and pizza. Grab a seat with a friend and listen to Live at Lunch for some midday entertainment or come back in the evening for fun, free events hosted by campus attractions.

There is always something to do at NDSU! Throughout the year, many events are hosted on campus, including career fairs in the FargoDome, movie nights in the Memorial Union, and plant sales in Shepperd Arena. At the beginning of each semester, you can attend the Student Involvement Expo and learn more about events on campus and the over 300 student organizations at NDSU.
⭐️ Memorial Union - Main Level
The Memorial Union is the heart of campus and is the hub of student activity. It houses offices for Student Activities, Student Government, Multicultural Programs, International Student and Study Abroad, and LGBTQ+ resources. If you're looking for a way to get involved outside of the classroom, the Union is a great place to start. Grab your friends for a free movie in our on-campus theater, visit the art gallery, or explore our 300 student clubs and organizations that frequently hold events and meetings in the Union. The main floor also houses our campus bookstore where you can grab supplies for class or your favorite apparel for Bison Pride Friday.
Fraternity and Sorority Life
NDSU has an active Fraternity and Sorority Life. With 11 fraternities and 4 sororities, students have many opportunities to get involved on campus and in the community. Highlights of Fraternity and Sorority Life include philanthropy events such as the popular Mr. and Ms. NDSU competitions, the Greek Grill-Out at the beginning of the school year, and the many friendships formed in and between each organization.
Study Abroad Office
All students at NDSU have to oppurtunity to study abroad while completing their degree. First-year students have access to our faculty-lead programs, ones lead by a professor at NDSU usually during the semester, spring, and summer breaks. After their first year students are able to apply for longer programs including full summer, semester and year-long programs. Stop in to the International Student and Study Abroad Services office located in room 116 in the Memorial Union located behind the Caribou coffee shop to figure out which programs are best for you.
One Stop
Welcome to One Stop, a service center that provides information about your student account, financial aid, scholarships, tuition, bill payments, registration and student records maintenance all in one convenient, always open, online location and one on-campus location at Memorial Union where helpful full-time staff are available to assist students in person, by phone, or by email.
Student Activities Office
NDSU has many events for students throughout the year! There are 270+ student organizations on campus! Events for students range from the Career Fair in the FargoDome to Hall Government and events in the residence halls. At the beginning of each semester, students can also attend the Student Involvement Expo to learn about our 270+ student organizations. Campus Attractions also hosts many events throughout the year from movie nights in the Memorial Union to a fan-favorite, Grocery Bag Bingo! You can always find something to do on campus.
Office of Multicultural Programs
The Office of Multicultural Programs believes in assisting the NDSU community in creating a culturally diverse and sensitive campus by providing student-centered support programs, co-sponsorship of cultural events, and tools for personal growth experiences.
