The West Dining Center, commonly called the WDC, is one of our dining centers located on campus. It is connected to five of our high-rise residence halls so students can easily grab some food without having to go outside.

🍽 Dining
NDSU has many options available for dining on campus. There are three different meal plan options and all of them work in every dining center on campus. In total, NDSU has two dining centers: West Dining Center and Residence Dining Center. We also have other food options available on campus, including multiple coffee shops and a food court in the Memorial Union.
Meal Plan Options
Freshman students at NDSU are required to have a 5-day or 7-day unlimited meal plan. This meal plan gives you unlimited access to both dining centers. After your first year, you can purchase a block meal plan in orders of 25 (25 meals, 50 meals, etc.). Block meal plans may be used at either of the dining centers, the Barry Hall Coffee Shop, and the food court in the Memorial Union.
RDC Food Options
The Residence Dining Center (RDC) has four different hot meal lines: Homestyle, Global, The Grill, and Creations. The RDC also has an in-house coffee shop which is included in your meal plan! At NDSU, all of our Dining Centers provide fresh salad and sandwich bars, delicious dessert bars, and grills for you to create your own unique meal.
WDC Food Options
The West Dining Center is the largest dining center at NDSU and has some pretty unique options: a smoothie bar, a woodfire pizza line, a food station free of the top eight allergens, and it is a peanut- and tree nut-friendly facility. Every dining center at NDSU provides an array of food options, including homestyle classics, global cuisine, fresh salad and sandwich bars, and grills for you to create your own unique meal.
