Business Building

We may hone our skills in the Business Building, but we apply them everywhere — around the campus to around the world. Nearly 80 percent of TCNJ business students complete at least one internship or co-op experience, giving them a competitive edge in a challenging employment marketplace.

The Herbert B. Mayo Student Investment Fund lets students analyze stocks and make investment decisions using real money, managing a portfolio valued at $400,000.

Live stock market and news updates stream through TCNJ’s Bloomberg Terminal, which provides the same information available to Wall Street hotshots.

Case competitions — sponsored annually by Johnson & Johnson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Target, and more — help our students develop team-building, analytical, and networking skills.

Get down to business abroad at the European Study Center in Heidelberg, not far from Germany’s financial hub in Frankfurt. Semester-long and summer trips are available for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

TCNJ’s Mayo Business Plan Competition has the largest prize pot for up-and-coming entrepreneurs in the state: $60,000 divided among three winning teams.
• Poets & Quants named two TCNJ professors to its inaugural list of top 40 business professors in the nation and ranked the school itself among the country’s 50 best undergraduate business schools. Bank of America, Bloomberg, CITI Group, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Johnson & Johnson, JPMorgan Chase & Co., KPMG, L’Oreal, Merck, Merrill Lynch, PNC Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Target, and UPS are among the top TCNJ employers.
