Humanities and Social Sciences

Sunshine and foliage provide a Zen study space in the Social Sciences
Building Atrium. It’s also a favorite spot for presentations, group gatherings, and receptions. TCNJ's Cognitive Development Lab, undergraduate research is at work as students and faculty welcome infants as young as 10 months to gain insights on what babies learn and how they learn it. College Choice ranked TCNJ’s BA in Criminology fifth among the nation’s top undergraduate criminology programs.

A recent TCNJ political science major won admission to seven of the nation’s top law schools. She took a full ride to Columbia University to study civil rights law. Humanities and Social Sciences students are frequent recipients of prestigious government grants like the Boren and Gilman scholarships, which support overseas study. For more information visit.
