Alumni Arena offers UB's athletics and recreation facilities. Inside, you will find an Olympic-sized pool, fitness center, racquetball courts, spinning room, bike rental, indoor running track, the main gym and a triple gym for intramurals and club sports in addition to indoor athletic competitions.

The Center for the Arts (CFA) is a major cultural and artistic hub for the Buffalo region. It has multiple theaters, video production and sound studios, the UB Art Gallery, and dance and performance studios. The bright, lofty CFA atrium is an inspiring place for students and visitors alike.
Highlights of this state-of-the-art facility include a 1,800-seat theater, a 360-seat drama theater, two black-box theaters, dance studios and a 200-seat media study screening room.

Working Artists Lab
The Working Artists Lab is an experimental workspace for Buffalo artists, UB students, faculty and visiting artists to develop new work and collaborate across disciplines, thereby illuminating the process of becoming a working artist. Leading figures in the arts are invited by the Arts Collaboratory to engage with the UB and Buffalo arts community over the course of a semester. In fall 2021, hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash was the artist in residence, working directly with students to "tell hip-hop's whole story."

UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts features 5,000 square feet of exhibition space in its First Floor, Second Floor and Lightwell Galleries.
UB Arts Collaboratory
The Arts Collaboratory, where UB and Buffalo painters, poets, dancers and creators come together, provides an environment for creative collaboration to flourish. The Arts Collaboratory and the Center for the Arts believe that when the arts converge, great work and big ideas result.

UB Athletics
UB has 16 NCAA Division I athletic programs that compete in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Bulls compete in our on-campus stadium and arena, with our electrifying True Blue student section cheering them on all season long!
Distinguished Speaker Series
Held in Alumni Arena, the Distinguished Speakers Series is a well-established, highly anticipated program both within the university and throughout the Buffalo Niagara region. Past speakers have included Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Malala Yousafzai, Leslie Odom Jr., and many others!

During Commencement, the UB community comes together to celebrate our graduates' achievements.
