🏘️ Living Learning Community
At UB, you have the unique opportunity to live with like-minded students in our popular Living Learning Communities, typically located in our residence halls.
By living with other students who share your interests, you’ll make friends more easily, have study partners right next door, and get access to programs specifically designed around your goals.

🚲 UB Bike Path/Ellicott Creek Trailway
It’s easy to bike on campus, with free bike registration, winter storage and bike racks on UB Stampede buses. You'll save money on gas and save time parking with this sustainable, healthy transportation option. UB even has bike repair kits and stands located throughout campus.
Ellicott Creek Trailway is an asphalt path used for biking, walking, running, and rollerblading. This multiuse pathway travels along Ellicott Creek—a 47-mile waterway that flows from Bennington to the Niagara River. Located in Amherst, the trail follows the outskirts of the University at Buffalo campus and is right near Greiner Hall.

💙 Gender-Inclusive Housing
UB is proud to offer gender-inclusive communities for undergraduate, graduate and professional students.
Our gender-inclusive housing options are for UB students who wish to live in a community without an assigned gender. In these communities, room placement and roommates are not selected on the basis of gender and roommates of different genders may live in the same room or apartment.

🚨 Campus Safety: Blue Light Emergency Phone
Blue light emergency phones are located all over UB's North and South campuses. The phones connect directly to University Police and are equipped with cameras, flashing lights and systems that can dispatch immediate assistance.
⭐ Greiner Hall
Greiner Hall is the newest residence hall on North Campus and offers sophomore-only, suite-style living. The first LEED gold certified building in Western New York, Greiner is a great example of UB’s sustainability efforts.
