🛏 Residential Halls
Ninety-four percent of our students live on campus all four years, and first-years live in 7 of the 14 halls on South Campus. Sponsor groups are "home-away-from-home" small groups of students who live together with mentors (typically sophomores) in these residence halls.

Laundry facilities are in the basement. Most of the rooms in Walker are singles arranged along two main hallways. Walker wings are adjacent to Walker's main halls. 💬 Walker Wall
In 1956, a curving five-foot wall was built as a flood break along the northern edge of the grassy area known as Walker Beach. Beginning in 1975, the wall would take on a more visible role in the life of the college as Pomona’s free speech wall. Today, this unique and valuable public free speech space highlights Pomona's affinity groups year-round.
⭐ Women's Union
The mission of the Pomona College Women’s Union is to secure positive changes for women in their personal and political lives and to work toward deconstructing gender-based constraints within both local and global contexts. We will engage The Claremont Colleges while extending our reach into our surrounding communities. The Women’s Union is committed to providing space and programming involving all genders, tailored to the diverse needs of women. In order to fulfill these commitments, we will exercise an active position against interlocking systems of oppression based on, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, class, religion, and ability. The Women's Union is located on the second floor of Walker Lounge.
