From the Health Sciences Center, you will see a large building with green glass. This is J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital! Feel free to drive around the facility or soak in the views from across the street near Milan Puskar Stadium!

J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital serves as WVU's teaching hospital and was ranked the number one hospital in West Virginia by U.S. News and World Report 2018-19. It is also home to the only level-one trauma center located on the east coast in a non-metropolitan area. The new WVU Medicine Children's hospital wing will revolutionize the care of women and children in WV. Included in its construction will be a mock football locker room where children can go on game day to see our Mountaineer football team wave to them before kickoff!
