Carroll Hall is also the home to our Drop-in Childcare Center. This daycare area allows Central to provide childcare to those on our campus as well as providing hands-on experience to our Early Childhood Studies majors.

Earn a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies and Infant/Toddler Mental Health to become a competent and well-qualified professional who can contribute effectively to your state’s efforts targeting access and quality in early childhood education and infant/toddler mental health.
Graduates will be prepared to work in publicly funded and private preschool programs.
Students have the opportunity to go abroad on long term and short term trips.
Global Engagement at Central can help students decide where they world like to travel and apply for scholarships to aid with the cost of the trip.
Children ages 3-12 of Central students, faculty, and staff are able to have a meaningful, developmentally appropriate and enriching educational experience.
ISSS advises and supports international scholars, exchange students, degree-seeking students, as well as students who come to Central to learn English in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP). ISSS is also instrumental in creating a supportive environment that attracts and retains international students and scholars.
The mission of the Intensive English Language Program (IELP) is to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction in American English and an introduction to American culture. IELP serves international students, non-native speakers of English residing in the U.S., faculty members from abroad, and foreign professionals. Specifically, IELP offers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to individuals who are seeking enrollment into American universities and facilitates the transition of these students into mainstream academic courses.
