A Comfortable Space
⭐ Cox Hall Food Court
In addition to Emory’s primary dining hall, the Dobbs Common Table, the Cox Hall Food Market offers a wide array of options. From burgers and sushi to Tex-Mex and rice bowls, there are options to satisfy the whole friend group. Or if you don’t want a full meal, you could grab a coffee and a pastry from Honolulu. The Food Market also offers a mini campus bodega with pre-made sushi, sandwiches, and snacks if you need to grab and go. Students can use their on-campus currency, Dooley Dollars or meal exchange (meal swipes), as well as cash and credit/debit cards.
⭐ The TechLab
If you’re interested in the cutting edge of technology and space to create, look no further than the TechLab and ArtsLab. Located in the Cox Computing Center, this is a space for students to explore the research and development of new and emerging technologies. Outfitted with 3D printers and scanners that all students can use, and it can be a great place for creative and tech-minded students to find an on-campus job. The labs offer regular workshops to train students in the use of its equipment, so you don’t need any experience to get started, just curiosity.
⭐ A Comfortable Space
The Cox Computing Center is home to comfy couches, big beanbags, and plush pillows, making it one of the most comfortable places to study on campus. Or, if you just need a place to take a nap, it’s great for that, too! Most of the furniture in the Computing Center is on wheels, making it a flexible environment to collaborate or hang out with your friends. If you’re feeling competitive, the Computing Center has a PS4, an Xbox One, and a Nintendo Switch—games included—that students can play and use.
