The Valley
Known as the area between the main campus and some of our residential halls, “The Valley” is used for intramural sports like basketball, flag football, softball, and tennis. You can also cheer on our JU Softball team here at the Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex!

Intramural
Jacksonville University is proud to offer JU students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to compete in individual and team sports throughout the academic year. We offer a variety of sports including- Sand Volleyball, 7v7, 5v5, Spikeball Flag Football, Cornhole, & Super Smash Brothers.
Varsity
Jacksonville University offers 2 Varsity sports- Sailing & the Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap Team. With its home waters on the beautiful St. Johns River, the Jacksonville University Sailing Team is a rapidly growing, competitive organization. Operating under the Division of Student Life, the JU Sailing Team is made up of both new and experienced sailors and acts as a competitive racing team and as a recreational club.
The Jacksonville University Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap Team was founded by Program Director and Head Coach David T. Dobson, with assistance from Dr. Priscilla Berry and inaugural Club President Justin Felker, in the Fall of 2009. The JUSST has the proud distinction of currently being a 21-time (Divisional/Event) ACUI and SCTP Collegiate HOA National Champion, and in December, 2011, the JUSST officially became a varsity team sport at JU.

Our students enjoy a wide range of activities on campus. We have 17 Division I athletic teams. Our men's teams include: baseball, basketball, cross country, lacrosse, rowing, and soccer. Our women's teams include: basketball, beach volleyball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, softball, spirit team, track & field, and volleyball.
