💫 Diversity and Inclusion
Monmouth University is committed to advancing diversity and inclusion efforts that ensure everyone on our campus feels welcome and supported. We are guided by our core values that embrace diversity, integrity, a caring campus, and excellence in teaching and learning. In Magill Commons, you will also find the administrative offices of the Intercultural Center and the Educational Opportunity Fund.
Intercultural Center
The Intercultural Center (IC) provides educational programs, cultural events, and opportunities for dialogue open to all members of the campus community. Their overall goal is to promote University-wide shifts towards diversity, inclusion, and respect, and to help make Monmouth a home away from home for all students. Some of the traditions the IC leads on campus include Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Pride events, and the annual MLK Distinguished Lecture in Social Justice.
Educational Opportunity Fund Office (EOF)
The New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) provides financial assistance and support services including counseling and tutoring to students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who attend participating institutions of higher education in the State of New Jersey. Learn more about the EOF program.
