The Hawk at Brockriede Common

One of the highlights of our campus is the impressive Hawk statue that sits right outside the OceanFirst Bank Center. Created by renowned sculptor and alumnus, Brian Hanlon, this 15-foot-tall, 29,000-pound bronze sculpture with a 22-foot wingspan has quickly become a favorite stop on campus tours. It’s not just a symbol of pride for the University community, it’s also a popular “selfie spot.”
