📝 Department of Psychology
The Department of Psychology is based here, giving students the chance to work on faculty research projects, present at academic conferences, and even co-author publications. We focus on skill development and hands-on, real-world experiences to build employable skills and allow students to pursue their career and life goals. Psychology majors conduct stimulating research to plan, complete, and present a major project, cultivate the abilities to reason scientifically, exercise ethical responsibility, and collaborate with diverse populations.
📈 Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics offers a well-rounded curriculum that blends math courses with nontraditional options. Students can participate in undergraduate research and explore different pathways, including a traditional math program, a concentration in statistics, or combined math and education tracks in partnership with the School of Education.
- Statistics
- Dive deeper into stats and gain practical experience in real-world settings through the Statistics concentration or minor. You’ll build a strong base in calculus, explore pure and applied statistics, and put it all into action solving real problems for real clients.
