🏘️ Residential Houses

A short walk to the Seaver Campus, the houses offer community living, stunning ocean views, a laundry room, volleyball courts, outdoor common areas, wireless internet, community barbecues, community television, and a furnished lobby. Residents have quick and easy access to community rooms, courtyards with grills, academic facilities (e.g., library, classrooms), dining venues, a variety of fitness centers, recreational courts (basketball, tennis, volleyball, track), walking/hiking trails, and a pool/spa!

Safety on Campus

The Pepperdine Malibu campus is a gated community with a guard booth and is patrolled 24/7 by the Department of Public Safety (DPS). As an added safety measure, there are many Blue Light phone systems across campus that will connect students immediately with DPS who will be on site within minutes.

Resident Advisors

RAs have a wide range of responsibilities including programming events geared toward personal and community development, serving as peer counselors, and upholding community standards. These standards include that we are a dry campus and entirely smoke-free.

Spiritual Life Advisors

SLAs' primary role is to foster and provide opportunities for a healthy spiritual environment for residents in their halls.

🤝 Residential Staff

Two resident advisors and one spiritual life advisor live in each house to guide and support our students during their time as residents. Resident Directors also work to support the community by serving on call to respond to any emergency or crisis that may come up and are great resources for helping first year students navigate the transition to campus.
