✍️ Student Accessibility Center
The Student Accessibility Services (Building 57) provides academic accommodations and services to students with documented disabilities.
The Student Accessibility Center also offers two programs that support registered students. Access Academy focuses on academic strategies, organizational skills, and employability and THRIVE is a program that provides support for students with autism.
USoar is a program that aims to empower students with intellectual disabilities by fostering their academic, social, and professional growth in an inclusive and supportive environment in a 3-year, non-degree seeking track.
🧩 Hands-on Learning
The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) emphasizes practical experiences for education students, who gain over 1,000 hours of hands-on classroom experience before graduation.
They earn an average of $5,000 more than other bachelor's degree graduates in the Florida State University System. Many of these programs provide financial incentives to students while completing their internship.
The college also offers advanced research programs at the master's and education doctorate levels.
