Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium seats more than 100,000 people. Academy Award winner and 1993 UT graduate Matthew McConaughey acts as the "Minister of Culture" at the venue, creating a fan experience unlike any other. The UT student body dedicated the stadium in 1924 to honor the nearly 200,000 Texans who fought in World War I and was rededicated to all veterans in 1977. At the south endzone is our over 7,500-square-foot video board. Check it out at a Texas Longhorns football game! Students can access all Texas Athletics home games by purchasing the Big Ticket.

🏀 Moody Center
The Moody Center is your venue for 150 nights of entertainment each year. The arena is the new home of Texas Basketball, where you can find over 15,000 fans cheering on our men’s and women’s teams, now proud members of the Southeastern Conference. You can experience the Longhorn Spirit in the courtside student section.
🎶 Longhorn Band
The Longhorn Band is considered one of the best college marching bands in the country. Whether playing “Texas Fight!” to pump up the crowd, performing one of their memorable half-time shows or leading us all in “The Eyes of Texas” at the end of the game, our band keeps spirits high and provides an overwhelming sense of community for its members.
