Williams Gymnasium
Williams Hall serves as the main multi-purpose athletic facility on campus, housing a weight room, aerobics studio, pool, basketball court, and more. Williams Hall also houses the Center for Healthful Living, which focuses on promoting students’ physical and mental well-being. The facilities also include a large auditorium, which is a favorite for the many performance groups on campus.

⭐ The Sports Scene
The Oxford sports environment is structured around varsity, intramural, and club offerings. There are nine active NCJAA DIII varsity teams, between men’s and women’s tennis, cross country, soccer, golf, and men’s basketball. Our varsity teams are frequently represented at national championships. In total, our tennis programs have won a combined 14 national championships! For students interested in a less competitive, accessible sports experience, club sports and intramural teams are always open. Organized through the Center for Healthful Living, intramural programs run year-round offering structured competitive play between student teams. Club sports provide another possible option for students, typically in the form of walk-on, low-stakes team play.
⭐ The Center for Healthful Living
In addition to arranging intramural competitions, the Center for Healthful Living seeks to promote campus-wide physical involvement. The student branch, known as Healthy Eagles, often arranges group fitness or scheduled collaborative events to emphasize a healthy balance of physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. The Center for Healthful Living also offers a wide variety of available athletic equipment for casual play and also advocates for its bike rental program, where students can check out any of the facility’s many available bikes for use around campus or in the surrounding local area.
