The Mary B. Coburn Health and Wellness Center is a 170,000 square-foot multipurpose facility that opened in August 2012. It includes a variety of health clinics, classrooms, research laboratories, and a fitness center.

University Health Services (UHS)
UHS promotes and improves the overall health and well-being of FSU students. Delivering high quality medical and mental health care that is efficient, accessible, and equitable. UHS has a variety of clinics providing high quality healthcare in a comfortable, friendly environment. Physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are available to treat students. Services include:
Medical treatment for acute and chronic conditions
Travel Clinic for overseas immunization requirements
Physicals and Annual Exams
Dedicated Women’s Care
Treatment procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, and biopsies
Diagnostic outpatient procedures such as lab, x-rays, EKGs and Ultrasound

Student Resilience Project
The Student Resilience Project, developed by our College of Social Work, is a web-based, research-informed toolkit developed to encourage students’ wellness by helping them learn to manage stress in healthy ways and increase their sense of belonging. The website features videos, skill-building activities, resources, and information, including podcasts by campus experts.
Counseling and Psychological Services
Sometimes we can all use a hand in facing the challenges life presents. Counseling and Psychological Services is a welcoming and confidential place for assistance! We are enthusiastic about helping our students with all kinds of questions and concerns like homesickness; struggles with relationships; sexual identity and gender questions; cultural issues; eating and body image; substance use; and worries and depression. Our licensed and professionally trained staff offer counseling services to those currently enrolled at FSU.
