The Leach Center
The Bobby E. Leach Student Recreation Center is a 120,000 square-foot fitness facility located in the heart of campus. This facility is the largest of two fitness centers on campus.

Bobby E. Leach Center is better known to students as The Leach. Here, students have access to an indoor track, swimming pool and spa, basketball courts, free weights, and more than 200 workout machines. The Leach also offers more than 100 free, group fitness classes per week and personal training sessions.
For students who have a competitive side, Florida State offers 38 different club sports who compete on a nationwide level that range from basketball and baseball to dance and gymnastics. FSU also has over 80 different intramural sports. Each of these sports has multiple divisions to appeal to students of all skill levels.
Finding your favorite way to move is essential to your college success. It’s more than breaking a sweat – exercise helps you sleep better, lowers stress levels, and increases focus. Located four miles from our main campus, the FSU Lakefront Park is a 73-acre lakefront property along Lake Bradford. In this unique natural setting, students can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, picnicking, swimming, sand volleyball, disc golf, and many other outdoor activities.
