⭐ Exploratory Advising
The Center for Exploratory Students works with first year students by providing personalized, developmental academic advising services. Each student works with an advisor who helps them figure out a career path that fits their interests. Their goal is to help students confidently declare their major by the end of their first year.
⭐ Suwannee Room
Inside the William Johnston building you’ll find the historic Suwannee Dining Hall. Built in 1913, it was the original bakery, cannery, and creamery for the Florida State College for Women. In early 2018, the hall was renovated with an open-kitchen atmosphere, an expanded menu, and providing more options for students requiring dietary accommodations. This all-you-care-to-eat dining facility is one of the most popular places to eat on campus, especially for students living in east-side residence halls. In addition to the Suwannee Room, FSU has another all-you-care-to-eat dining option on the west side of campus, Seminole Cafe, providing dining options for students in all areas of campus. Seminole Dining offers many meal plan memberships for students living both on and off campus.
